I absolutely love to paint still life subjects. It's fun to see how mystical common household items and food can become when they're presented in a painting.
My still-life works are painted from life. Why copy a picture when there are plenty of interesting objects lying around the house that you could paint? Flowers are free in the summer and they make a nice centerpiece in the winter.
